How to Arrange The Flowers

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

Working with your monthly delivery from Enjoy Flowers, make sure you start by gathering all your materials. You’ll need: a sharp pair of scissors, one tall vase  (white is an elegant choice for this arrangement), and of course a packet of flower food powder.

Step 2: Remove The Bottom Leaves From Each Stem

It’s important to remove all the bottom leaves from each stem to prolong the freshness of your bouquet. Any leaves that get submerged in the vase water can contribute to bacterial growth and decrease the shelf life of your flowers.

Step 3: Prepare Your Vases With Water

Pour water into your vase and add flower food powder. If you don’t have a packet of flower food powder, you can use an alternative to keep bacteria out of the water. Try a few splashes of apple cider vinegar or a mixture of bleach, sugar and lemon.

Step 4: Place the Kale, Purple Stock and Green Carnation Into Your Vase

Cut the stems of your kale, purple stock and green carnations and place them into your vase. For this arrangement, cut only a small amount at the base so that the flowers stand tall in the vase.

Step 5: Add the Green Pompons, White Micro-Pompons and Purple Disbud

Place the green pompons, white micro-pompons and purple disbud into the arrangement. Continue to fill the vase until it is full and make sure to mix all the colors for a loose and natural look.

Step 6: Enjoy!

Place this colorful bouquet in your home or office for a lovely breath of fresh summer air!
